they’re not my drinks, but i am responsible for the names of the june specials. indian summer: garam masala + simple syrup + espresso + ice + steamed milkyo numba: mint simple syrup + china breakfast tea + cranberry juice + ice i can’t wait until someone says, “can i have yo numba?” (or, better yet, “can i have a yo numba?”). with one drink name we’re acknowledging juvenile humor, a shop in-joke, and fulfilling the dream of an employee (having women ask for his number).
